A polyglot collection is one spoken or written in several languages; the noun means“a person who can speak several languages”or“a book written in several languages.”



Polyglot also has come to mean simply“a mixture of languages.”Polyglot books or dictionaries typically present parallel texts or entries in columnar form, a different language’s version in each column.
