The first rule of Fight Club is - you do not talk about Fight Club.
The second rule of Fight Club is - you DO NOT talk about Fight Club.
Third rule of Fight Club, someone yells Stop!, goes limp, taps out, the fight is over.
Fourth rule, only two guys to a fight.
Fifth rule, one fight at a time, fellas.
Sixth rule, no shirt, no shoes.
Seventh rule, fights will go on as long as they have to.
And the eighth and final rule, if this is your first night at Fight Club, you have to fight.
one of my all-time favourites ;)

the Best of Pitt
and ONE of the best of EN
yup definitely the best of pitt
回覆刪除macho, handsome, bourgeous, and the inner wildness, cynicism, anarchy
perfect casting
Personally reckon this is the best of Ed too
His acting in Primal Fear is too over
American X History slightly over too
His explosive power is not through overt, outward display,
but through a covert, almost restrained low-key

So you can say that
EN is way too over in the end of Red Dragon
as if "EN fans, time for EN now!"
Al Pacino is even the same case.
It seems like we're always expecting the "Al Pacino Time",
must be a SPEECH.
Brooding little Michael is gone,
since Tony Montana introduced his little friend to us.
"EN fans, time for EN now!"
回覆刪除haha i like this...
Oh how young & handsome Al Pacino was in Godfather I (&II i suppose)
who's tony motana? i dun remember @@
there are (roughly) two kinds of good-looking men, the pretty & the
enduring:
Al Pacion & Robert Redford are the former
Sean Connery & Robert De Niro the latter

The pretty can also be categorized into the enduring
but the enduring can't
just because they're not pretty
In my opinion
Al is the former
and Redford is the juicy version of Pitt
Newman is fine with the beard
and Redford without
That's the only problem with Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
You mean the enduring aged well?
Ha ha
Al is definitely the pretty
the pretty just don't aged well except Paul Newman
yup thats exactly how i meant
回覆刪除in terms of aging...
i mean Al still has his charm (the vampire voice? @@)
but really, Connery and De Niro werent that good looking as
youngster; Connery basically looks like a wild beast during the
007 era (or was that a form of 'sexy ugly' as per stipulated by
Kissing Jessica Stein?). Yet the older they are the hotter they
get, esp connery.
Al is too hammy, while Robert is so versatile.
回覆刪除Yet i still love Al more. He's got that... i-control-everything-and-you-are-
shit-to-me attitude. He rarely plays WEAK ROLES, even he does, there's some
persistence in that character, like "Lefty" in Donnie Brasco and Sonny in Dog
Day Afternoon.
And I once heard a foreign friend call Edward Norton GRANNY cos EN is truly
NAGGIN all the time, whining always. That voice, too. But we still love this
grandma, don't we?
btw, works of Chuck Palahniuk, author of Fight Club, really are sadistically
beautiful. highly recommend them!

I still regard Michael as the best (and only) of Al. Robert is SO
versatile, Al just captivates me.

Check that WOODY granny in the second clip.
http://imdb.com/title/tt1024715/
one of the Palahniuk project in 2008, we have Kelly Macdonald,
Anjelica Huston and... SAM ROCKWELL!!!
Sam used to be my next Edward Norton after Confessions of a
Dangerous Mind, but he just disappeared. Matchstick Men to The
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (with beautiful Zooey), what a
inscrutable man.
http://imdb.com/title/tt0870111/
He is joining Ron Howard??? Okay.
http://imdb.com/title/tt0443680/
Looking very foward to this, beautiful Zooey again, Brad Pitt I
suppose, and way-too-cuter-than-his-brother Affleck.
