[dreyer] Præsidenten
















卓別林 ( 有錯請糾正 ) 說過:電影配上音就失去了神秘感。



我看了這片才體會到所謂的神秘感。對於時間和人物的混淆,故意不讓自己的細節強迫症發作,我選擇放心地享受形式侷限帶來的簡約明快,以及加快腳步的神經兮兮。



如默片般快速步伐的神經兮兮,開始了就不想停下來





默片不太熟,卓別林 / 基頓 / 嘉寶都沒看過,但我想當麥克筆 (Michael Pitt),我喜歡穆腦吸血鬼的歇斯底里,卡里加利博士的小屋的提姆波頓 ( 這順序應該反過來 ),大都會像人臉的工業機器 ( 也只有那幕喜歡 ),德萊葉讓我愛上默片。

THE PRESIDENT is Carl Th. Dreyer's first feature film as director. Already in his debut we are witnesses to the thematic mainstay of most of his later films; the mother left to her own destiny with her illegitimate child. In this film the man is haunted by guilt, which he is not allowed to report. THE PRESIDENT has its world premiere in Sweden in Feb. 1919. It premiered in Denmark in the Panoptikon Theatre in Copenhagen on Feb. 9, 1920.
