pander (n., v.), panderer (n.)   

 

Pander
is a noun made by functional shift from the verb pander, meaning“to procure, to pimp for, or to assist in satisfying the sexual or other ignoble desires of another person.”



Panderer is a word built by the addition of the agentive ending -er to the verb. The noun pander has been around much, much longer than its synonym, panderer, but both are Standard.
